As a dedicated Community Coordinator for PUBG and PUBG Lite, I played a key role in bridging the gap between the games and their global player base. My work focused on ensuring seamless localization, engaging with the community, and maintaining a strong online presence for both games. With a passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player needs, I contributed to creating a vibrant and inclusive community experience.

Key Responsibilities

In my role as Community Coordinator, I was responsible for a wide range of tasks that ensured the games were accessible, engaging, and error-free for players worldwide. My key responsibilities included:

• Localization Management: Overseeing the localization process for both games, ensuring that all in-game text, updates, and communications were accurately translated and culturally adapted for Turkey.
• Bug and Error Reporting: Identifying and reporting bugs and errors in localized content to ensure a smooth and consistent player experience for Turkish players.
• Social Media Management: Managing and curating content for the games' social media channels, including posting updates, announcements, and engaging with the community.
• Localization of Social Media: Adapting social media content for Turkey region, ensuring that posts resonated with local audiences while maintaining a unified global brand.
• Coordinated Global Posting: Ensuring that social media posts were published simultaneously across all regions to maintain consistency and maximize impact.
• Live Streaming: Hosting live streams to engage with the community, showcase new features, and provide real-time updates about the games.
• Streamer Communications: Building and maintaining relationships with streamers, coordinating collaborations, and providing them with the necessary resources to promote the games.
• Stream Setup and Maintenance: Setting up and managing live stream setups, ensuring high-quality broadcasts and smooth technical execution.

Why I Do What I Do

I love working in a game company. From the very beginning, I wanted to focus on the QA (Quality Assurance) aspect of games, and this role as a Community Coordinator was a fantastic starting point for that journey. Not only did it allow me to dive into the technical and creative sides of game development, but it also gave me the chance to connect with players on a deeper level.

As a fan of PUBG, I was already streaming the game and engaging with its community. Being able to make official streams for PUBG and having the opportunity to directly impact the game and its community was a dream come true. It’s not every day that you get to combine your passion with your profession, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have been part of such an exciting and dynamic environment. This experience has only strengthened my desire to continue contributing to the gaming industry, especially in QA, where I can ensure players have the best possible experience.
